All About Tristan

Tristan was born and raised in Palmetto, FL. He attended Full Sail University in Orlando, FL, and majored in Recording Arts. After graduation he moved to Atlanta, GA to persue a job in recording. He was an intern for two years at a studio, however, when Covid hit he returned home to Florida and has re-enrolled in college at SCF for Computer Programming and Analysis.

  • Tristan enjoys a lot of activities that some would call nerdy. His favorite quote is "to be cringe is to be alive" so he fully embraces everything he enjoys with open arms.

  • He currently runs a modded Minecraft server for five of his close friends. With over one hundred mods on the server him and his friends have endless hours of fun learning the tech mods and exploring new dungeons in exploration mods. He hopes to someday code his own Minecraft mods for his friends to enjoy.

  • Tristan also enjoys playing Dungeons & Dragons in his free time. He believes Dungeons & Dragon and other RPG tabletop games can give people the ability to come out of their shell. His first encounter with Dungeons & Dragons was around 8 years ago in college and he's been playing ever since. Dungeons & Dragons introduced Tristan to the world of long form improv and unlocked the creative outlet of telling beautiful, silly, and sometimes extremely sad stories with a group of friends.

  • Another hobby he has is cosplaying. He was taught to sew by his mother at around ten years old when she noticed he really, REALLY, loved clothes. He now uses that knowledge to create cosplays of characters he loves. At the latest convention he attended he decided to cosplay Finn the Human from Adventure Time, Zuko from Avatar the Last Airbender, and Pete from Dimension 20's Unsleeping City. He enjoys the process of gathering all the materials needed to make a cosplay and trying to get the cosplay as close to the source as possible. It can sometimes be a challenging job but it always pays off.

  • Renaissance Festivals are also one of Tristan's favorite activities. Although they only come around a few times a year he thinks about his outfits pretty much all year. He has dressed up as princes, bards, pirates, and knights. He enjoys the community and the vibe of Renaissance Festivals everyone seems carefree and it's always nice to find some cool handmade trinkets being sold by the vendors. His goal during a future Renaissance Festival is to obtain a sword that is taller than him (which shouldn't be too hard because he is only 5'1).

  • Tristan also enjoys drawing a talent he learned mostly from his father who went to school for art. As a kid tristan always appreciated cartoons and his dad hand painted a border around his room of all his favorite characters. Being surrounded by art as a kid made him develope the skill over time and although he is not the best he always has fun doodling little sketches and drawing on his iPad.

  • A recent addition to Tristan's interests has been improv comedy. He was introduced to it through a Dungeons & Dragons group and it quickly changed his preconceptions about this form of comedy. He started to appreciate the art of thinking on your feet and creating something funny out of a prompt that might not be the most inspiring

Tristan has worked as a floral designer assistant at Oneco Florist for three years. At the flower shop he does everything from answering phone calls, to organizing flowers, to helping put products on the website. Before the flower shop he worked for Starbucks for around three years as well. At Starbucks he was a barista trainer and barista. He would help train new partners, divvy up tips, make drinks, all while making sure the work area was always clean and tidy.
